Dr. Lingam is the most experienced interventional pain management physician in Central Ohio. He is the founder of Spine Care Specialists, LLC. He has been taking care of patients with chronic pain from Ohio and most neighboring states since 1979.
Dr. Lingam graduated from Andhra Medical College and completed training in general surgery in India. He completed training in Anesthesiolgy and Pain Management at the University of Miami, Florida. He then joined Ohio State University Medical Center. During his tenure there, he started the first "pain clinic" in Columbus at the University, and was instrumental in developing this into the Ohio State Center for Pain Control, of which he was the medical director until just before he left OSU.
Dr. Lingam obtained accreditation from the American Board of Anesthesiology and started the Pain Fellowship Program at the Ohio State University Medical Center and was the director of the program until his departure. He was the Associate Chairperson of the Department of Anesthesiology and was Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
In 2001, he left OSU to start Pain Care Specialists, (now Spine Care Specialists, LLC). He is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He has a wide range of interests, mostly with the sciences and one of his priorities is keeping up with the changes and advances in the field of pain control.
Dr. Orzo received his undergraduate degree in Pharmacy, medical school training, Anesthesiology residency, and Pain Management fellowship from The Ohio State University. He served as the Medical Director of the Ohio State University Outpatient Pain Program from 2000 to 2001. He joined Pain Care Specialists, (now Spine Care Specialists, LLC) in 2001. He is double board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology.
"Dr. Kal" received his undergraduate degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University, and medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed his Anesthesiology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, where he served as chief resident. After completing his Pain Management fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, he returned to Columbus to join Pain Care Specialists (now Spine Care Specialists, LLC) in 2005. He is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, playing sports, and is an avid fan of Ohio State football and basketball and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Angie Weatherwax MS, PA-C is an experienced physician assistant who joined Spine Care Specialists in 2017. An Ohio native, Angie obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Ohio Northern University in 2002. She then received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2004 from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. Angie worked in neurology, both inpatient and outpatient, for the first 13 years of her career. Outside of clinical practice, Angie enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Kristen is a Family Nurse Practitioner board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She grew up in Hudson, OH and was motivated to follow a nursing career path by seeing first-hand the positive impact her mom has made. Kristen attended Otterbein College where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating in 2008. She worked in the Intensive Care Unit at Riverside Methodist Hospital. In 2014, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Wheeling Jesuit University. She looks forward to providing tools, resources, and knowledge about what it takes to live a healthy and fulfilled life with chronic pain. Kristen lives in Dublin with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new restaurants/ foods, and travel.
